Limited edition woven blanket in 100% pure natural wool.
I call this blanket "The Family Blanket". I grew up with a blanket very similar, it came everywhere with us, so it almost felt like another family member. I sometimes wonder if it was because of this blanket I became a weaver. Of course I was the one in the family to inherit it and I eventually decided to replicate it and have it as part of my collection. I have often given it as a wedding or housewarming present to neices and nephews so now other members of the family can have it too.
It was originally from Connemara on the West Coast of Ireland, and the colours and textures echo the rugged shore line along the Atlantic coast.
214 cm x 150 cm twisted fringe at either end 7 cm.
